Ask Us Another is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2019 by former students from Southern California. Initially focused on providing academic assistance to the Chinese community, the organization has now expanded its reach since 2022. Acknowledging the importance of supporting underrepresented communities nationwide, Ask Us Another has extended its mission to encompass individuals from all minority groups. In addition to its existing tutoring services, the organization now offers a valuable service of translating positive news into multiple languages, further bridging the communication gap and promoting inclusivity.

We understand that, as a new immigrant, your language barriers can be tough. That’s why we are here to help. Our bilingual volunteers are dedicated to helping you improve your English language skills, making your transition more comfortable and helping you excel in your studies. We offer specialized language support to help you enhance your reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities.
Our student-tutor matching process is designed so that each student is paired with a tutor tailored to their preference. We take into consideration factors such as grade level, preferred learning environment, and any specific areas of improvement the student may have. Through the answer of your google form, we guarantee to pair you a tutor of best fit.
The tutoring schedule is also fully personalized and flexible. Once the pairing is complete, both the student and the tutor will receive an email notification, including information about the upcoming session, scheduling options, and contact information for both parties. You will get to decide when and where to meet. We believe that communication is key in fostering a successful tutor-student relationship, so the board is always here to resolve any issues whenever you are having a hard time.
